As Mother’s Day is approaching us I wondered to myself hmmmmmm…………

How on earth could a Mom Rock A Guilt-Free Mother’s Day??????????

“MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY, MA, MA,MA ,MOM, MOM, MOTHER, MOTHER”

Whatever your child calls you I think every mom can attest that you could hear your name being called even in your sleep.  Mother’s Day is coming up and I’m sure we all agree that Mother’s Day is everyday. So why not pick another day that you can have for yourself that’s NOT on the actual Mother’s Day?

Here’s the dream that could be a reality for you!!

What if you Rocked the following???

  1. Picked a future date to schedule for yourself.
  2. Have the children’s day planned for whomever will be caring for them.
  3. Prepared the children ahead of time about that day and why Mommy needs to take it. (This will probably be the toughest negotiations you will ever have with your children) You can rock this Mommy!
  4. Visualized what you want to do on that day.
  5. Do you want to sleep, take walks, shop to you drop that flows into a nap, have lunch with friends, or get your nails done.  Whatever you choose it will be peaceful and re-energizing for you guaranteed!

Whatever your heart desire you can ROCK a day for yourself. Remember, you are the HEART of your family and you constantly empower them.  You do this with no question 365.

One guilt free day pass for yourself is good, healthy, and will bring you back home stronger for your family.  Focus on how great everyone will feel when you come back home re-energized!!

  1. Aahh yes, a guilt-free Mother’s Day. Sounds really awesome. I plan to relax and take in a movie, some great food and enjoy the day. I may even see if some of my favorite online stories have a sale or two!

  2. This is not only great advice for moms but also for parents! It is so easy to lose yourself, forgetting that at one time you were “more than (mom, dad, parent)” . Setting aside time to reconnect with the person you were before life got hectic, is amazing advice. Thanks Shauna!
